# Start here: authoring for agents

## What this is

This origin serves no HTML. Agents fetch /.well-known/arw.json for the
manifest, then read authored Markdown machine views like this one. There
is no human page behind it, so nothing here was converted or extracted.

## How authoring works

The editor is the whole publishing pipeline. The Markdown you write is
what an agent receives, byte for byte. The panes beside it show the exact
response body, its semantic chunks, a structural quality checklist, and
the manifest entry your change publishes.

## What agents can do here

Read these machine views, then invoke the declared tools: check_stock
returns live availability for a product slug, and reserve_item places a
fifteen-minute hold. Both are listed in the manifest with their auth
requirements, so an agent can discover and call them without guessing.

## Try an edit

Change a heading and watch the chunk list update. Empty the description
and watch the quality score drop a tier. Nothing here is a preview of a
rendered page - it is the artifact itself.
